Republicans: Purge Your Party Or Leave It
Republicans, you don’t have much time. You need to purge your party or leave it. Look clearly at the disgusting face of your party above. Look clearly at the face of hypocrisy, cowardice, insurrection, sedition, treason. Look clearly at Ted Cruz, the two-faced bozo who is the poster boy for Republican values now. Stare at the face of your future, and decide whether you have the guts to remove this clown from your party or just leave it altogether.
Those are your only real choices of hope.
Baby Don Jr. told you days ago that you don’t have a party anymore. He stated clearly that it was Trump’s party. Good luck with that. Well Daddy Trump is now cut off at the knees. He is banned from Twitter. He will be impeached for the second time next week (a record only Trump could achieve) and it’s likely he will convicted in the Senate after he leaves the White House. He will be banned from running for any Federal office, which is a huge win for you. In all likelihood, he will be in Federal prison for tax crimes, or inciting an insurrection against the U.S., or any of the other dozens of business crimes that he’s being investigated for. He could be implicated in the death of Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick. He will probably be involved in a wrongful death lawsuit by the parents. Trump is over. His narcissism and delusion of infallibility were his final downfall. With any luck, he will flee the country before Jan. 19 and never be seen or heard from again.
So let’s take a look at what’s left of your party now…
The main faces of your party now are Two-Faced Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley (the most hated U.S. Senator), Mo Brooks (an unhinged hillbilly) and Ron Johnson (a complete stone-faced dullard). What a crew of incompetence!
Oh wait, I left out Melting Rudy Giuliani, Transvestite Sydney Powell and Ambulance Chaser Lin Wood. You’ve definitely got those three loonies to fall back on.
And let’s take a look at the Trump electorate that you’re so concerned to hang on to?
QAnon, Proud Boys, Boogaloo, Right Wing Watch, The KKK, The Aryan Nation, and at least 20 other domestic terrorist organizations are YOUR BASE. Do you actually operate under the delusion that you are the party of Lincoln or Reagan anymore?? You are the party of domestic terror, insurrection, right wing extremism, treason, sedition and full blown chaos. You no longer have credible standing in the two party system. Trump has taken over, and destroyed, what used to be the Republican Party. Trump has courted a fanatical following of social media nut jobs, and this is now who you are.
If the Trump Capitol Insurrection has taught us anything, it’s that the Republican Party has a growing malignancy of incompetent leadership and insane cult followers who think they can overthrow the U.S. Government to install a Trump autocracy. That’s their goal. And now that goal is forever cemented to the Republican Party legacy today.
So you have only two choices now. Get rid of Cruz, Hawley, Brooks, Johnson and the 140+ representatives who attempted a coup at the Capitol. Disassociate yourselves with every single one of these traitors now. Or just leave the party and start over. Start a new party with non-violent, inclusive platforms. The cancer that has infected the current Republican Party is not going away, so just run for the exits.
My suggestion to you is the latter. Get out of the party. Once an infection has spread so widely and deeply in your party, the only remedy is to start anew. I hope you have the guts to do this.
